The Knights are currently working with the CCC to compile a list in preparation for making calls on January 12 and 13 for the Rescue Project. Parish Council of Catholic Women: The PCCW helped with the PSR Christmas party on December 21. There was no December meeting. The Daddy-Daughter dance has been canceled. On January 29 there will be a Tastefully Simple tasting party and these products will be available for order. Community Life: Parishioners from St. Luke helped with the Christmas baskets that were put together and distributed. On December 14, dinner was served for the priests who came for the Penance Service. The church was decorated on December 18 after 10am Mass with the help of parishioners. A special thanks to the maintenance committee for their help with setting up the Christmas trees and the nativity scene. The Christmas decorations will be taken down after the 10am Mass on January 8.
Maintenance: At the church, the maintenance crew helped to put up the nativity scene. They helped set up and take down the portable confessionals for the Penance Service. They replaced another light switch and wiring in the basement and worked in the choir loft to improve the live streaming. The crew installed a 120-volt receptacle in the choir loft closet to move the computer and ran a new HDMI cable from the computer to the monitor. In the center, they washed and rehung a shelf in the kitchen and repaired a broken drawer. They checked a water leak in a classroom skylight. They continued working to finish the generator hookup and ran 60 feet of conduit for wiring to the office area air conditioner.
Finance & Administration: Fr. Hammond reported that the parish finances remain in good standing according to the six-month report. Offertory collections continue to be generous, and an effort is being made to keep expenses down. Thank you for your generous support of our parish.

Safety: The entrance lights are not consistently working. Dave Rashley is looking into different systems to upgrade what we currently have. We will need to continue locking doors during mass.
New Business:
Center Set-Up and Tear Down: Council members discussed the present situation for setting up and tearing down for events in the center. Organizations will need to take care of this since there is no one doing this job. A short statement will be put in the bulletin to explain the current expectations for those who use the center.
Lack of kneelers in front pews: This situation was discussed. The maintenance crew will evaluate the situation to see what will work best so that these pews continue to handicap accessible.
Committee Assignments: Don Tidd will head the Social Concerns committee.
