·December 15th – Youth Group traveling to Columbus for event.
·December 18th – PSR pageant practice and anyone who would like to sing in choir for Christmas.
·December 24th – Christmas pageant 4:00pm – any children participating must be at the center by 3:30pm
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: Family of the Month: Mark Latorre. He has attended St. Luke for 10 years. He is a 4
th Degree Knight and Comptroller for Assembly 2970. He is a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. Mark supports Fish Fries and Pancake Breakfasts. He is on this year’s Confirmation Team. Congratulations!
Knight of the Month: Sheryl and Duane Mickley. They have been married for over 30 years, committed to the Catholic Faith and St. Luke’s. They have three daughters, Jessica, Jennifer and Melissa. Duane is the Recorder for Council 910 and an usher. He supports Fish Fries, Pancake Breakfasts and Highway Pickup. Sheryl is a Lector, Administrator of Religious Education and on the Safety Committee.

Support Our Seminarians: December’s collection was $192.08. Thank you, St. Luke’s!
Memorial Mass: Thanks you all who attended, there was positive feedback on date and time change.
Upcoming Events: Coats for Kids will continue through December 8th. Collection boxes in the Church.
Pancake Breakfast: During the upcoming Church renovation the KofC Pancake Breakfasts will continue following the current published schedule. The breakfast will start at 11:00AM after 10:00AM mass in the Community Center. More information will be published prior to the breakfast.
PARISH COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN: The craft show went well with many vendors. The Father Lamy voting was this weekend. There will be an announcement December 8
th. Christmas basket tags were up and gone. If anyone needs anything, let Marcia Durbin know. The PCCW has taken dinners to a parish family. They will help a family for Christmas as well. Children’s Christmas party gifts are purchased. The Youth wrapped them. Anyone with preschoolers that want to participate December 11
th, please call Marcia Durbin. January 14
th will be the next meeting with Euchre night and soup. The Valentine’s Dance will be February 8
th.
DEANERY REPORT: Father Gribble is the new Dean of the Deanery Positive Outlook.
MAINTENANCE: The ornaments have been taken out of the garage. Several kitchen maintenance repairs were completed. Several lights in the Center were addressed. Miscellaneous cleaning was completed.
The 2020 Renovations Committee: The Bishop approved the Renovations. The Church will be stripped December 29
th. Masses will start in the Center December 31
st.
COMMUNITY LIFE: There are 77 Christmas baskets. The food for the Priests, the night of the Penance service, will be prepared. The packing of baskets will be December 15
th at 1:00pm. The Church will be decorated December 22
nd and items will be taken down December 29
th.
SOCIAL CONCERNS: No new report.
RESPECT LIFE: There will be Registration forms/Sign up sheets for the 2020 March for Life. The Charter bus will leave Danville at 6:00am on Thursday, January 24
th and will return Saturday January 25
th in the evening. To register or if you have questions, you can contact the Parish Office or Shelby Mickley via cell phone.
BEREAVEMENT: No parish deaths were reported in November.
We have received 45 positive responses of people planning to attend the second annual Memorial Gathering. We are preparing food for 50. The event will be held at the Community Center this Friday, December 6
th. Father Homer Blubaugh will deliver the invocation and Rochelle Adam will provide the music.
Lynn Miller has completed a sample memorial pillow, which will be offered in addition to the bears. One bear or pillow will be provided free of charge; each additional bear or pillow will be available at the sample cost of $25.00.
